Carolyn R. Shaw

Carolyn Shaw is a lifelong resident of Northeast Oklahoma. She graduated from Coweta High School and began attending Tulsa Community College.

Carolyn’s first career was in food service, and she still has her private catering business. Although funeral service wasn’t her first choice in a career but it was something that she found and is thankful to have found it because she says “it has been the most fullfiling career I have ever had”. Carolyn attended the University of Central Oklahoma graduating in 2013. She works for Moore Funeral Homes in Tulsa. Along with being a funeral director she is a Certified Funeral Celebrant. Carolyn recently obtained her Master’s in Business Administration from Western Governors University.

Carolyn is married to OKFDA’s District II’s Chairman, Tim Shaw. They recently moved back to Coweta which she lovingly refers to as the “country”. She enjoys traveling, crafting, cooking, having fun with family and friends, thrift shopping, reading, gardening and watching the sunsets.
